Every festive season I get some version of the same question on the channel: “bhai, Myntra EORS kab hai?” And the honest answer is — that’s not the sale you’re waiting for.
This confuses a lot of people, including me for a while. Myntra and Ajio each run two separate flagship sales a year, and the famous one isn’t the festive one.

Myntra Big Fashion Festival — what’s expected
Confirmed: the Big Fashion Festival starts October 7, with early access on October 6 for Myntra Insiders. Myntra announced this itself, and it puts Myntra first out of the gate — a day ahead of Amazon’s October 8 and two ahead of Flipkart’s October 9.
Worth recording how this went, because it says something about the dates you see quoted online. Before Myntra announced, the third-party reports genuinely disagreed — September 22, September 23 to October 6, September 27 to October 8, all stated with equal confidence. Every one of them was in September, and every one of them was wrong. The actual answer was October 7.
And there’s a bigger problem with all of them. Every one of those estimates sits in September — but the festivals these sales are built around moved this year. Navratri 2026 doesn’t begin until October 11, and Diwali falls on November 8, nearly three weeks later than in 2025. Last year the big festive sales lined up almost exactly with that window. If Myntra and Ajio follow the same logic, mid-October is a more sensible expectation than late September, and the September dates going around are probably just 2025’s numbers carried forward. What’s more reliably consistent across years: Myntra Insiders typically get about a day of early access before it opens to everyone. If you’re planning a big fashion purchase, the free Insider signup is worth doing beforehand rather than during.
Ajio All Stars Sale — what’s expected
Ajio confirmed it last: the All Stars Sale opened October 7, the same day as Myntra, per Reliance’s own media release — running to around October 15-18 alongside its “Festival Is Festivalling” campaign. Curtain-raiser pricing had been live for a few days before the main reveal, which is worth remembering next year. The thing that genuinely sets it apart is length — reporting suggests it runs closer to three weeks, rather than the ten-day burst you get from Flipkart.
That matters practically. If you miss the first weekend of Big Billion Days, that deal is usually gone. Ajio’s longer run means there’s more room for a second look — though it also means the very best prices aren’t necessarily on day one, so there’s less reason to panic-buy in the opening hours.
Again, not officially confirmed yet. I’ll update this page when Ajio actually announces rather than pick one of the estimates and present it as fact.

All four events land in roughly the same festive window, which is the single best argument for not defaulting to one platform out of habit. Fashion is the category where this matters most — Myntra and Ajio genuinely compete hard here, while Flipkart and Amazon treat fashion as one category among many.
My rough take, based on what I see posting deals across all four year-round:
- Fashion and footwear — Myntra and Ajio usually go deeper during their own festive events than Amazon or Flipkart do on the same brands
- Electronics and mobiles — not close; Big Billion Days and the Great Indian Festival are where those cuts happen
- Everything else — genuinely depends on the item, which is the whole reason I cross-check rather than committing to one platform

What I’d actually do before it starts
- Sign up for Myntra Insider now, not during the sale — early access is only useful if the account already exists
- Note what you actually want, with current prices written down. Festive-season ”% off” badges are measured against MRP, and MRP inflation is real — I checked five live deals against their actual price history recently and every single “before” price was inflated
- Don’t assume the first day is the best day, especially on Ajio’s longer run
- Check both platforms for the same item. They stock a lot of the same brands, and the discounts genuinely don’t move together
